About Me
Hello, It’s Me.
I’m a sunshine-loving small-town Florida girl.My name is Courtney, and I’m married to my high school sweetheart of seventeen years, raising a sorority of little women in the same town where I grew up in sunny Central Florida. One of my deepest beliefs is that practicing hospitality can exponentially grow hope in our hearts and homes. I know this because I’ve experienced how healing it is to feel welcomed and like you belong.
If I’m being honest, my life has been full of good things, and I’ve appeared to be thriving, even while experiencing the loneliest season of my life. I wonder if I’m the only one? Our generation faces an epidemic of loneliness, and while I don’t have all the answers, I believe one simple step toward hope is extending an invitation to belong.
The Hopeful Grove is my foray into figuring out how to nurture more hope in my heart, even when days are dark. I’ve found healing through practicing hospitality—creating experiences, planning gatherings, and sharing recipes that plant seeds of goodness and foster connection. If you’re in a season of searching, I pray you receive this as an invitation to feel less alone on the journey and to make yourself at home.
