About Me
Hello, It’s Me.
I’m a sunshine-loving small-town Florida girl.My name is Courtney, and I’m married to my high school sweetheart of seventeen years, raising a sorority of little women in the same town where I grew up in sunny Central Florida. One of my deepest beliefs is that practicing hospitality can exponentially grow hope in our hearts and homes. I know this because I’ve experienced how healing it is to feel welcomed and to be given a place to belong.
Even as my life has overflowed with good things—and on the outside I’ve seemed to be thriving—I’ve been walking through the loneliest season of my life. I wonder if anyone else feels the same. Our generation is facing an epidemic of loneliness. I don’t have all the answers, but I do believe hope can begin with one simple act: with an invitation, a seat at the table, a place to belong.
The Hopeful Grove is my foray into figuring out how to nurture more hope in my heart, even when days are dark. I’ve found healing through practicing hospitality—creating experiences, planning gatherings, and sharing recipes that plant seeds of goodness and foster connection. If you’re in a season of searching, I pray you receive this as an invitation to feel less alone on the journey and to make yourself at home.
