My Top Five Favorite Soups to Feed My Family

These five soups are all super simple and so flavorful —perfect for the colder months. We’ve had our first wave of cooler air here in Florida, and it’s definitely ushering in soup season. I make these five recipes for my family all the time during the Fall and Winter.  I usually pair them with a salad and either homemade easy cornbread or a loaf of sourdough. The best thing about these soups is that you can double, even triple, the recipe if you’re feeding a crowd.

  1. Salt & Lavender’s Creamy Taco Soup

  2. Chelsea’s Messy Apron White Chicken Chili (Slow-Cooker)

  3. Pinch of Yum’s Simple Homemade Tomato Soup or Half Baked Harvest’s Roasted Tomato Soup for a Vegetarian Option (served best with grilled cheese!)

  4. The Modern Proper’s Tortellini Italian Sausage Soup

  5. Salt & Lavender’s Zuppa Toscana
